Well, sure that’s true, but you forgot to mention the magical powers of warming the planet by people listening to them!!!!!

    For the Horde!!!!!!!!

  2. The science is complex. We don’t need people trying to explain it to other people as this would confuse them.

  3. I though it was a definition about Confucius’s followers but nevertheless this is an awesome post. :D

The first time I heard that word was from Don Wuebbles, when he used it on me, after I pointed out the natural variability of the past. I actually laughed out loud, as it was such a childish ploy.

Oh, great. I thought I was just greedy, ignorant, politically & ideologically driven, or crazy. Now I’m a confusionist……. but guess where that term seems to come from: http://www.desmogblog.com/directory/vocabulary/5242

Goes clean back to Desmog’s star blogger Ross Gelbspan who claimed in the mid- late ’90s that skeptic climate scientists were paid by ‘big coal & oil’ to confuse the public over “settled science”.

As I’ve said so many times before (click on my name above), it’s the only tactic those guys have to fall back on for distracting the public from comprehending how there is real scientific opposition to the IPCC.
