Climate Change Always Targets The Poor

The remains of what has been described as a huge lost city may force historians and archaeologists to radically reconsider their view of ancient human history.

Marine scientists say archaeological remains discovered 36 metres (120 feet) underwater in the Gulf of Cambay off the western coast of India could be over 9,000 years old.

BBC News | SOUTH ASIA | Lost city ‘could rewrite history’

Had Stone Age Europeans been more thoughtful and raised taxes 10,000 years ago, they could have prevented this tragedy.

Sorry, but the consensus says it never happened.

  2. Kaboom says:

Of course it does, but mostly the first world poor that sink into increased fuel and electricity poverty to pay for a transfer of wealth to the third world rich that benefit from “sustainability aid”.

What fossil fuel did these 9,000 year old humans burn that led to 120 feet of sea level rise?

  4. Sparks says:

If the BBC said it, it must be true. what were the BBC over-hyping about the roman catholic religion?

Amazing that a foto of one of the inhabitants survived to this day. I see he is posing for a ‘The Thinker’ foto shoot. Probably thinking a lot about sea level rise.

This is all their fault. They obviously started a run away greenhouse effect that we have inherited and is out of control. With their stone tools or something.

You can bet there are many more human civilizations and ancient cities hidden underwater down to 400 feet below sea level that were built on seabed left exposed during the peaks of prior ice ages.

Humans have always preferred living close to water. Deep sonar mapping might surprise us to what existed prior to certain cataclysms and population bottlenecks that almost killed us off more than once in the past.

There is much more out there lurking and threatening to man than a few molecules of CO2….
