The current drought is nothing like the Dust Bowl, which lasted for seven years and forced most of the population of Oklahoma to leave. McKitten seems to believe that no lie is too big.

McKibben is the Head Chucklehead over at Glowball Warming Fear Mongering Central.
His desperation, his fear of his career collapsing, his future ruined. All predictable, all expected.
Sad really, he could have done something good with his life. Maybe that accident with his face made him a bitter clinger fear mongerer.
I assume McKibbey thinks someone is listening to his insane drivel.
Fascinating. I live in Kansas and hadn’t heard a word of this. These people are just making crap up. Yeh, there’s not much out at Ulysses, lots of dust and wind. It’s always been that way.
What the Reuters article is really about is this:
“But the Ogallala aquifer is drying up after years of drawing out more water than was replenished.
Many farmers have had to drill deeper wells to find water. Others are giving up on irrigation altogether, which means they can no longer grow crops of high-yielding and lucrative corn.”
But then the nutters get to have a say:
“Climate change is also having an impact on the region, said atmospheric scientist Katharine Hayhoe, co-director of the Climate Science Center at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. “It is definitely hotter in the summer and drier in the summer because of climate change,” she said.”
So there you have it!

Have a Happy New Year, Steve!
And why is corn so lucrative? Because we are burning it in our cars. How can we continue to elect stupid people.
