Journal News Crime Wave Continues

The Journal News printed an interactive guide for criminals a couple of weeks ago, leading to a crime wave in the New York region. Lefties think that it is good to do stupid things, as long as they are hateful enough about it.

Two handguns and two pistol permits were stolen from the New City home of a man whose name and address are listed on the website of a local newspaper as possessing gun permits, police said.

The thieves ransacked the house Wednesday night, breaking into two safes on the home’s third floor and stealing a third safe. The guns were in the stolen safe, police said.

“NEW YORK (WABC) — It appears someone forgot to exempt police officers from the ban of ammunition clips with more than 7 bullets in New York State’s new gun control law.

It’s a big oversight that apparently happened in the haste by the Cuomo Administration to get a tough package of gun-control measures signed into law.”

Sounds like the safes weren’t big or heavy enough.
It helps if they are also welded to the structure.

  3. nigelf says:

Lefties would be overjoyed if one of these break-ins resulted in the death of the legal gun owner. Most wouldn’t show it but some in the media just wouldn’t be able to hide their glee.

  4. Latitude says:

    drives me crazy…..
as soon as the liberals get in office, they pass a ton of new laws…..
…then scream holy hell when they are voted out, and republicans have to enforce those laws

    • TonyO of Aust says:

Latitude says: “and republicans have to enforce those laws”

If they had a set, they would repeal those laws, but your Republicans are probably as weak as our Conservative Parties when it comes to repealing such laws – I think they secretly agree with them. (It was our Conservative Party that banned guns in this country).

      • johnmcguire says:

Tony you nailed that one . Our republicans are as hatefull to the constitution as the democrats , example the fact that they almost never reverse the rulings of the previous democrat administrations with the exception of the ban on assault rifles . When clinton used executive orders to create the huge reserves of land under federal park or reserve proctection at the end of his term all those were left in place by bush . And that is just one on the list .

  5. nothothereKevinK says:

They want to give retired law enforcement officers the same “exemption” from the 7 bullet rule as active officers, can you spell “First Class Citizen” ? And the Liberal Loons explain that “we can’t let the criminals have more bullets”, good little criminal, leave all your bullets after 7 at home please……..

  6. higley7 says:

Let the litigation begin. It should not take long for a pattern of theft to emerge with safes being targeted in certain houses.

  7. peterh says:

The DA ought to charge the Journal with conspiracy.

If only the government weren’t on the side of the criminals…

  8. If this news paper, “The Journal-News”, wanted to serve the safety needs of its readers it, would have published all of the names and addresses of the people that were on these drugs: Luvox, Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, Effexor, Thorazine, Ritalin, Paxil, and Effexor plus what ever mind altering drugs are prescribed with no follow up. One can see when shown photos of these mass murder perpetrators that there damn sure is something the matter with them and that something should have been dealt with by their families, the medical profession that prescribed these drugs and the mental health care profession that can’t seem to come to grips with this problem.
