Stalin was referred to as “Uncle Joe.” There was a documentary about him called “Man of Steel” which was excellent and showed how his public image was vastly different from the private man. There was a segment about him using children to endure himself to the public and to quell people’s fears of his murderous ways.
Recall Democrats trotting out kids during the Clinton years using them as props for the school lunch program “cuts”. There were no cuts, but these tactics do work.
