Psychotic Journal News Employee Releases Gun Database

This goes out to the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association, the National Rifle Association, Christopher Fountain (you shameless scumbag), and everyone else who has threatened the Journal News and Gawker reporters and employees.

NY Pistol Permit Owners – Pastebin.com

None of these people or organizations have threatened anyone. The Journals News is apparent staffed by paranoid left wing psychotics, and are exactly the reason why gun registration is a terrible idea.

I very much hope this will be actionable, and they will lose. Badly.

  2. NikFromNYC says:

They state: “The internet doesn’t forget. Free information. Ban ammunition.”

The tone is that of a hacker group, whereas actual Anonymous group statements support gun ownership in an albeit overly long and a somewhat tacky video on YouTube (“anonymous guns”).

I reported it a violation. Pastebin is for programmers and you are not allowed to post personal information. We’ll see:

Do you really want pastebin to be aiding and abetting criminals to find registered gun owners’ property?

This post violates TOS by posting personal information. Your list:

  4. Michael D Smith says:

Not that it will help… This is probably already a torrent somewhere…

  5. Eric Simpson says:

Unlike conservatives, the liberal philosophy is to win at any cost.
To them, the ends justifies the means. Go ahead and be immoral if it is in pursuit of as a higher moral goal; it’s very Nietzschean. Dostoyevsky’s Crime and Punishment was about a misguided individual with a bloated sense of his own value who thought he could justifiably even commit murder if it allowed him to gain resources and so advance larger moral goals (of course, not to give it away, but he was an idiot and flubbed it all up). Warmists also subscribe, all of them essentially, to this Nietzschean view. Look at their quotes where they imply that it’s fine to lie if a larger beneficial goal is at stake:
“We’ve got to ride the global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing …” -leftist Senator Tim Wirth, 1993
“We have to offer up [bullshit] scary scenarios… each of us has to decide the right balance between being effective [lying] and being honest [ineffective].” -Stephen Schneider, lead ipcc author, 1989
etc etc as far as more similar quotes ….
One takeaway from the point I’ve made about the liberal win at any cost philosophy, and their aggressive desire to humiliate or criminalize the opposition (and their skill and perseverance at that), is that we need anonymity in politics, and especially in political finance… contributions to political causes should be anonymous because the libs are much more effective in intimating contributors to conservative causes; we are not on an even playing field there, as we are unfortunately never going to have the gumption or will to humiliate liberal contributors.

Moral: when RINOs like McCain talk about campaign finance reform and “transparency” in donations, run from that idea like it’s the plague.

  6. Robert Austin says:

I would hope that those in the US who push for firearms registration study the mess that was the Canadian firearms registration scheme before Prime Minister Harper axed it. It was supposed to cost a few million and ended up costing two billion dollars! It was rife with errors and probably only half of the existing firearms were registered. Apropos, one of the biggest concerns of firearms owners was that the data would get out. When one sees the regular leaks of private data from government, the concerns were certainly justified. These government idiots are regularly loosing memory sticks with unencrypted private data.
