Here’s an easy way to voice your opinion – a friend of mine sent me this. I filled it out, it’s easy.
“This site will generate a personalized letter to Obama, Biden and YOUR local representatives asking to not enact any new gun laws AND asking to upgrade mental health issues and background checks. You will be able to review it before it gets sent out. It may take one or two minutes to complete and then it sends out the letter to all the politicians in your voting area from Pres on down to Senators / Congressmen / Governors.
Please take time to fill out the form that Ruger has made available.
Emotion rather than logic dictates this discussion with lefties. I tried to have a discussion with someone today – I pointed out assault rifles were only used in 25% of mass shootings and 2.5% of murders overall. Facts don’t matter – he came to the conclusion that assault rifles should be banned, well just because!
I don’t own an assault rifle but all this talk is making me want to go out and get one while I still can.
Good luck buying any now. They are hard to come by.
I prefer Russian rifles. AKs are incredibly well engineered. You can disassemble, clean and reassemble one in less than a minute, and they never jam. They can handle steel cased shells too, and the ammo is cheaper. 5.45 (AK-74) sells for $0.18 compared to $0.40 for 5.56 (AR-15) Not that you can buy ammo anymore ……
