What if the DHS wants to corner the market on ammunition over the next year or so? They become the only legal supplier and all Americans require federal permit to purchase ammo.
I can’t think of any other valid reason for the purchase of so much ammo. Get’s around the 2nd Amendment. You can have a gun, but no ammunition.
