Two Term President Reagan Rejected EPA Lies In The 1980’s

A report by the Environmental Protection Agency three years ago said the warming trend could start by the 1990’s and could reach as much as 4 degrees Fahrenheit by 2040, but this was attacked by President Reagan’s science adviser at the time, George A. Keyworth, as ”unnecessarily alarmist.”

Now we are stuck with pathetic losers like Romney and McCain.

or rather, shall we be stuck with the Democrats vision of an America in socialism, aka welfare

  3. Chewer says:

The progressives spouting AGW alarmist BS and attacking dissent as anti-science most certainly suffer from delusions and neurotic behavior.
Our president, secretary of state and those in elected and appointed positions should undergo psychiatric examinations for their psychotic and fully neurotic behavior, as they are not mentally fit to hold any position of authority or decision making for the masses.

  4. John F. Hultquist says:

Both Romney and McCain were losers, as you say, so the question now goes to a half dozen charmless and fault-ridden types. Perhaps, we will get a miracle and an unknown will come forward in the manner of the previous junior senator from Illinois. This plot is referred to as “Deus ex machina” and best used in comedy or tragedy.
Besides, half the voters will go for H. C., if she runs, just because of her gender. Such voters can then claim they voted for the first woman president. No other qualification needed.

Romney recanted. He is at worst a lukewarmer now, and understands spending money on climate change is pointless. I admire people who change their minds when they are proven wrong.

  6. Stephen Richards says:

The UN clearly want to learn from Kim. He is after all doing what they want to achieve. I guess the EU will follow them over to NK.

  7. Rob Ryan says:

    From the linked article:
Senator John H. Chafee, the Rhode Island Republican who is chairman of the subcommittee, quoted a recent assessment by the Department of Energy, which said, ”Human effects on atmospheric composition and the size and operations of the terrestrial ecosystems may yet overwhelm the life-support system crafted in nature over billions of years.”

Senator Chafee said it would be too risky to wait until all the answers about atmospheric changes were known before taking action.”

Note that Chafee was a Republican. Of course, that was back in the days before rejection of science became the price of admission to the Republican party (and, for the matter of that, before the party chased me out).

  9. Well, we got stuck with the loser Bush in 1988 & it’s all been downhill from there. Bobdole, W, McCain, & Romney. I think Dukakis would have been a terrible president, but I think it would have been better for all of us if HW hadn’t’ve won in ’88: no Clinton, Bobdole probably losing in ’92 instead (it’s his turn, you guys!), & then who knows? President Donald “I wear a dead raccoon on my head” Trump, ugh, no, never mind.

  10. Gail Combs says:

Pathetic losers like Romney and McCain are RINOS.

    Louis T. McFadden for President!!!

  11. Brian H says:

Chafee is a ijit, who knows not of what he speaks. Human influences on climate are 99% imaginary.
