DERANGED WOMAN IN BEAR DRAMA
These are the amazing scenes at a zoo on Friday (10Apr09), where a woman jumped into a polar bear enclosure and was mauled by a bear.
The deranged woman leapt over bars at Berlin Zoo during the bear’s feeding time.
And despite six zoo keepers efforts to distract the four predator’s the woman was bitten several times on her arms and legs by one of the bears.
The brave keepers eventually managed to push the bear away and pull the woman to safety.
The 32-year-old woman in now recovering in hospital after undergoing surgery to heal her wounds. Police did not say why she jumped into the enclosure.
