I was shocked to read this morning that the Iter reactor will be generating large amounts of a potent greenhouse gas.

Presidential science advisor John Holdren warned us about these pesky reactors in 1969 :
A more easily evaluated problem is the tremendous quantity of waste heat generated at nuclear installations (to say nothing of the usable power output, which, as with power from whatever source, must also ultimately be dissipated as heat). Both have potentially disastrous effects on the local and world ecological and climatological balance.
This dangerous substance (H2O) is known to be responsible for the vast majority of the greenhouse effect on Earth. It absorbs LW radiation across a broad spectrum and is extremely abundant.

Nancy Pelosi wants to save the planet, and she has less than four weeks to do it. I urge you to write her to get all this nasty steam under control, before it kills the Penguins or Mosquitoes or some lizard in the Amazon.
