When I was riding my bike in to the office this morning, I was noticing that everything is just like it always is in late October. The leaves are falling off the trees, the weather is cool and wet, the feel of winter just around the corner. The mountains looked just like they always do, as did the prairies.
Needless to say, I was shocked to discover at lunch that the planet had fallen ill and was close to death. I haven’t been outside for a few hours.
Is the planet really dead? Are the Polar Bears and Walruses gone? Did the ice melt? Am I in for a nasty surprise later this afternoon? Say it isn’t so.
