Dalai Lama : “These tragedies are not natural disasters, they are human disasters”

The Dalai Lama has been busy studying the science, and has come to the conclusion that humans control the climate.

“These tragedies are not natural disasters, they are human disasters. They are man-made tragedies,” he said when explaining the impacts of climate change. “It is our own carelessness,” he concluded.

This puts him in agreement with other spiritual leaders, including the Pope, Al Gore,  Leonardo Di Caprio, and Osama Bin Laden.

It appears that we have a consensus!

    LOL,

Take note of their DEEEEEP background in education.

One who never went to school, another a high school drop out, another failure in school and last one failed in college twice before managing to pass a third time.

    Yawn.

  2. AndyW says:

Well you have to admit humans have fucked up a lot of things incuding the dodo onwards.

Whether or nor CO2 is a bad thing for the planet you have to admit that without humans making shitty toys for Macdonalds happy meals and then shipping them half way arounf the planet to make 99c you wouldn’t have as much.

    I don’t believe in AGW.

However humans unlike other animals do Sh*t in their own backyard 😦

I am always worried about how much we poison our planet and when you see the earth from space you realise what a small area life exists on and we have no where else to go 😦

We are very bad at just taking what we need and are always greedy (not everyone), the selfishness of humanity will be its undoing.

When I was a kid we landed on the moon and reached for the the stars, now we have become a people with no aspiration and are declining back into a new “Dark Ages”.

I can program computers and so could a lot of my generation, now very few can (read the machine stops by HG Wells).

Also I think you’ll find the current Pope is a very well educated person, however as a Catholic it is not an article of faith to believe in AGW.

Remember that when the Dark ages come again the only thing that preserves knowledge are religions as states and societies collapse. Will we get a new “dark ages” well it has happened many time through out human history and we have slowly stopped producing written records and paper survives, hard disks, dvds and CDs don’t.

  4. R. de Haan says:

The Dalai Lama has very close connections with the UN and the AGW establishment.
This isn’t the first time he speaks out in support of the scam.

The process to gain global control (and governance) continues as we speak.
Lately Jaap de Hoop Scheffer (former Secretary General of the NATO stated that the power of the G20 was to dominant compared to the UN.
Today the message came that the IMF was going to be the designated body to overview the harmonization of national and regional trade deficits and to supervise national debts in order to stabilize the global economy and prevent further crises.
The details to be filled in were about what package of sanctions the IMF was going to get to enforce rule. Europe recently decided to introduce an automatic fine system for Nations that didn’t manage meet the basic deficit rule of 3% of GDP.
The IMF will have a similar sanction available.

    So here you have it.
The establishment of a global body with the consent from Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, China, Indonesia, Russia India, Pakistan, South Africa etc.

Individual nations are shaped and modulated to fit the Global Puzzle put together by ideologists who oppose capitalism, free markets and free competition, democracy and individual freedoms. These ideologists are protected by global immunity, they are not elected and they are in a position of unlimited control.

Our only savior lies with the USA.
If the next government is able to take control and role back the delegated UN powers there is hope.

Europe has passed the phase of a role back since January when the Lisbon Treaty was signed.
By 2012 the EU will force foreign air carriers to compensate their emissions via emissions trading schemes, if not these carriers will lose their slots on European airports.

This means that Cap and Trade is introduced on a global scale by a process of black mail without the consent of the US Senate.

Count on it that the establishment of a global emission control will be followed by population control measures.

In the mean time our kids are brainwashed, we are buried under a mountain of propaganda, our economies are killed, our pensions are stolen and our rights are evaporating. The only way to stop the doctrine is to eliminate the thugs in the old fashioned way.

It is shameful that the Dalai Lama adopts this anti-scientific stance because that blinds him to proper application of science which can – using solar-magnetic particle and lunar – effects PREDICT extreme events which cause misery and death to many of his followers. See (eg):-

  6. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

Another reason to not trust religion. Religion burned Giordano Bruno at the stake. Religion nailed Jesus Christ to a cross. Such brutality and intolerance!

I think the Dalai Lama wouldn’t approve of those events because he seems to be a gentle soul. It just seems there are ulterior reason than science for his position. “Destruction of your neighbour is destruction of yourself.” he says. I am certain he does not know about the suffering from biofuel programs. Or, about the suffering of the elderly and poor in Europe from higher energy costs that global warming hysteria has created.

  7. PJB says:

    Getting in the Guroove

I know that I will never see
A guru lonely as a tree
    While standing there, he’ll expound
    Until the people gather round
Convince them of their urgent need
To follow his advice and creed.
For if it were so very smart
You’d know it right there from the start
And he would ask for your advice
If he were really all that nice.
