UN : CO2 Is “The Most Serious Threat The World Has Ever Faced”

Highlighting the failure of last year’s Copenhagen climate summit, the report called for international commitment at events such as the U.N.-sponsored climate talks to be held in Cancun, Mexico, next month, “if we are to face up to what may be the most serious threat the world has ever faced.”

Wow. Those little tiny molecules we exhale are worse than World War, Plague, Smallpox, Polio, Nuclear War, Malaria, Drought, Famine, Communism, Fascism, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Asteroids, and Religious Fanatics.

I hear that there are people in Berlin hiding CO2 refugees in their cellars.

Are these people completely mental, or do they just think everyone else is stupid? Or both?

  1. Maybe the most serious threat the world has ever faced is the UN/Al Gore/ClimateGate scientists/global warming politicians.

  2. tarpon says:

Shirley they jest. What about UN peacekeepers raping scores?

  3. Your link is to Grist – so the answer to your question is: “both”.
Grist calls Texas politicians “climate zombies” even though Texas has no warming (See: http://www.appinsys.com/GlobalWarming/Texas.htm

  4. clearscience says:

Well I think that the US military made a similar proclamation a while back about it being the single most important national security issue. I suppose those “liberal” soldiers are “in on it” too eh goddard?

  5. Anything is possible says:

This may just be me, but I am guessing that if you want an independant critique of the policies being persued by our political masters, then the military are probably not the best people to ask…….
