“2010 on track to be warmest year for Canada: UN weather agency”

CANCUN, MEXICO—Global warming has hit Canada harder than most other parts of the world and 2010 is on track to be Canada’s warmest year, the UN weather agency said Thursday.

Hot in Canada? So why didn’t they hold the meeting in Winnipeg instead of Cancun? These clowns definitely have a sense of humour.

Yep and we are in the 30s in SWFL because of global warming … or at least the hoax of global warming.

  2. PJB says:

Here in “southern” Quebec, it has been wet and balmy (-8C to +8C) for the last week. Winter should arrive any day now and then the fun begins….

Anecdotally, I would say that our temps are about typical over the last 50 years or so.

  3. Eyes Wide Open says:

Oh what hardship! This summer in Ontario was cooler than normal with no heat waves with temperatures 35 degrees C. If it was warmer than normal it was because our winter was relatively mild. That’s hitting us hard?

  4. Scarlet Pumpernickel says:

Can u please do one for Australia LOL Hottest year ever ? http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victoria/decade-hottest-ever-say-bom-and-world-meteorological-organisation/story-e6frf7kx-1225965067443

Wow even warmer then the Minoan warming???

  5. lance says:

Just south of Calgary, we are running at .2C above the long term nomal. (mainly due to the El Nino this spring) since it petered out, we have been dropping like a rock. So maybe it was warmer somewhere else, but not in Alberta….

  6. Lazarus says:

Steve are you seriously claiming that 2010 isn’t on track to be Canada’s warmest year based on predicted temperatures for a single week in December? Do you think that negates the actual data for the year to date?

  7. clearscience says:

Canada is on pace for its warmest year on record as of right now it is 0.10 C ahead of the nearest year. Steve, Stop with the BS.

  8. peterhodges says:

it’s always warmer somewhere else, some other time.

first you add-value, then you adjust, then you homogenize.

instant warmest ever. well, as instant as it takes the supercomputer to crunch the data through the algorithm.
