President Barack Obama delivered the following remarks Monday:

THE PRESIDENT:  Thank you so much.  Thank you, everybody.  (Applause.)  Thank you so much.  Thank you so much.  Please, everybody have a seat, have a seat.  It is good to be back in North Carolina.  (Applause.)  Love North Carolina.  Although, I have to say, I came down here for slightly warmer weather.  (Laughter.)  What’s snow doing on the ground in North Carolina?  (Laughter.) Come on, now.  Anyway, it is a great honor to be with you here at Forsyth Technical Community College.

  1. peterhodges says:

as usual they do the opposite of what they say:

If the recession has taught us anything, it’s that we cannot go back to an economy that’s driven by too much spending, too much borrowing, running up credit cards, taking out a lot of home equity loans, paper profits that are built on financial speculation.

i just don’t understand how anyone believes anything politicians say. they stand up there and just blatantly lie, and people clap and aplaud. from city council to the president.

    • John Smith says:

If the point you are making is that everybody (especially Governments) should think very carefully about debt and spending, then I agree. The President seems to have missed the real Sputnik moment…. It’s snowing in Nth Carolina…

  2. Paul H says:

    Oh the great Obarmy.

Did not Hansen tell you he was making things up all the time?

  3. William Teach says:

Yeah, about that NC snow: here in Raleigh, they said up to an inch, and it would be gone by the end of Sunday. How’d that work out? Well, there is still some snow hanging around. Feels more like North Jersey, where snow tends to hang for a while, than North Carolina. Heck, for the moment, the 15 day Accucast forecast has only one day at the normal high of 56, every other day is going to be in the mid to low 40’s. Oh, sorry, that’s weather, my bad. Or, is it cold caused by greenhouse gases? Hard to keep up with the alarmist’s talking points.

  4. Adela says:

Terrorists are being brought to justice in civil courts these days…
Al Gore and the global warming alarmists such as left wing politicians, pseudo scientists, journalists, the Hollywood idiots, have been inflicting psychological terrorism upon a whole generation of children all over the world for the last 15 years.
These charlatans should be brought to justice as the perpetrators of the biggest scam in the history of this planet.
The social, financial and psychological damages that they caused are beyond comprehension.
No criminal organization in history has come even close to having such a desastruous impact on so many people, for such a long time, and make so much money in the process.
They should not be permitted to get away with it.
Hundred of billions have been wasted on a fraud, social and economical policies have been altered based on a fraud….the moral authors of this fraud should be in jail for the rest of their lives and their fortune seized.

  5. What’s snow doing on the ground in North Carolina? (Laughter.)

Many people that voted Obama are suffering voters remorse. Obama is supposed to be the global warming President, so this clueless quip shows why that remorse will continue to grow for 2 more years.

The irony meter is pegged. Anyway I never did any of those things. Better go talk to Bwawney Fwank.
