German Scientist : Cold Hot Water Causing Floods

Rahmstorf: A warmer climate increases precipitation because most of the moisture in the air comes from the oceans by way of evaporation. So if the sea gets warmer, you’ll always get more rain too.

Rahmstorf: Yes, of course its La Nina that’s the direct cause

So the record cold La Nina ocean temperatures are making the ocean warmer. I’m starting to wonder if there is a maximum allowable IQ for climate scientists.

Yes but you do not qualify. If memory serves it was 70! 😉
IQ (60-70): About 87% of those with a developmental disability will be a little slower than normal in learning new information. Mild disability may not be evident or even diagnosed until they school. Even if poor performance levels are recognized, it may take expert assessment to distinguish mild mental disability from a learning disability or behavioral problem. As they become older some can grow and be considered “slow” rather than “Retarded” based upon their progresses.

IQ (50-60): Moderate disability is obvious within first year of life. They will encounter difficulties in school, home and in the community. In many cases special schooling will be needed, or specialty classes but can progress and become functional members of society.

IQ (50-BELOW): Those with more severe cases will need support their entire life.
Any of the above levels qualifies you to be a Climatologist!

If your “Elevator” goes all the way to the top floor you are disqualified!
Drug induced also meets the qualification levels!

  3. Andy Weiss says:

What qualifies you to be an idiot? What about a moron? Or an imbecile?

      Here you go!

I think this guy has too much iodine in his diet. But, reading the story, we know his heritage. Endemic cretinism was especially common in areas of southern Europe around the Alps and was described by ancient Roman writers, and often depicted by medieval artists. The earliest Alpine mountain climbers sometimes came upon whole villages of cretins. so, I think this guy is a cretin. Although, I’m not ruling out,
“idiot”. Idiot was used to refer to people having an IQ below 30. But that doesn’t quite get him through school, even today, so it may be that he’s an imbecile, indicated an intellectual disability less extreme than idiocy and not necessarily inherited. But I think a more apt description of our cold hot friend may be
moron. Moron was defined by the American Association for the Study of the Feeble-minded in 1910, following work by Henry H. Goddard, as the term for an adult with a mental age between eight and twelve; mild mental retardation is now the term for this condition. This group was known in UK law from 1911 to 1959/60 as feeble-minded.

I’m beginning to think we know more about the current climate conditions than most climatologists. Could someone pass him a note (in crayon, they like pretty colors) stating that La Nina is cooling the water.

As I recall, individuals with left brain focus tended to be the very most intelligent.

There were a preponderance of individuals with Right Brain focus in the middle of the intellectual spectrum. But apparently, they thought they were at the top.

Left Brain (controlling right side) was logical, rational, analytical and objective.

Right Brain (controlling left side) was Random, Intuitive, Synthesizing, and Subjective. ( Crazy?)

Maybe if you whack a few right brained folks upside the head, you might produce a few more rational thinkers? Just a guess.,r:0,s:0
