    Do we have a causation/effect reversal in the Arctic meltdown arguments by warmists? Are the temps anomalously high because there is open water (because the water came from the warmer Atlantic/Pacific), which causes the air above it to be warmer? Rather than the ice is gone because the air temp is high?

    The high temp locations seem to be in the vicinity of open water, not in general warmer temps as created by CO2 mechanisms.
