Man, I wish their was a comment section for those articles.

  2. GregO says:

Mexico City is 2,240 meters (7,349 feet) above sea level. What on earth are these people obsessing over?

This idea of man-made climate catastrophe from CO2 is evidence of insanity. The catastrophe just isn’t happening.

Oh, and add this to the list of fevered fantasies and I do mean utter fantasy:

  3. Justa Joe says:

We t’eed up Ms. Lankão last week.

  4. AndyW says:

Did you actually read the article Steve or just link to it? Or just decided yet again do a false headline?

“or example, a prolonged heat wave can exacerbate existing levels of air pollution, causing widespread health problems.”

For a blog that is called Real Science these silly headlines do you no favours in my opinion.

  5. Beano says:

The only heat they should be fearing is from Popocatepetl

  6. I thought there was no such a thing as UHI? Did anybody speak to Hansen?

ps for a spirit-lifting experience, read how the BBC is further expanding its science silliness collection.

  7. J Calvert says:

From the article: “Romero Lankao, a sociologist specializing in climate change” This will probably upset someone but . . . a sociologist (?!?!) – specializing in climate change. WTF?
