“It Is Not My Fault”

We conclude that most climate models mix heat too efficiently into the deep ocean and as a result underestimate the negative forcing by human-made aerosols.

Hansen’s climate forecasts have been an unmitigated disaster, but it isn’t his fault. It is the fault of the evil humans who not only are destroying the planet with CO2, but are also hiding the disaster behind their other pollution.

Evil, those humans are.

      you haven’t heard of warmcold???

It’s called the cooling hiding the warming trend. It’s also called bollocks! Hansen is not alone.

        26th November 2010
In a report published today, the Met Office said the slow in the rate of warming was down to a combination of natural variation in the weather and pollution.

Scientists say one of the major factors is the rise in heavy industry and pollutant ‘aerosols’, particularly in Asia.

An upsurge in industrial emissions such as sulphur which are being pumped into the atmosphere reflects sunlight and could lead to a cooling effect.

Changes in the amount of water vapour in the stratosphere may also be a factor, the report suggests.

Is that white hat his attempt at panache? He has thought about co2 so much he is become like it, tasteless.

    • Scott says:

The white hat is his attempt to reduce AGW via albedo changes. Somehow, I don’t think it’ll make up for him traveling around the world.

Wouldn’t the opposite also be true?

If you clean up the air, wouldn’t it get warmer?
