Texas Dem Thinks Christian Militants Are Planning To Bring Down The Country

What is it exactly that these people are smoking?

Will this happen before or after Guam tips over? Will it happen before or after Manhattan drowns?

      from the link:

“She really believes that the 5th and 14th Amendment of the Constitution covers health care. It doesn’t really surprise me because this is the same woman who wanted to know why hurricanes aren’t named after black people. What?”

  1. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

She is intolerant and will not accept any answer that does not fit with her jaundice. She pressed and pressed him to give an answer she wanted to hear. But he would not agree with her narrow-minded, sectarian paradigm. She is a dangerous politician who is threat to freedom. Texans should vote for her opponent in the next election so her intolerance and backwardness does not spread. A Nation must be ruled by law not by the penchant of certain individuals.

PS: Steve; you might want to allow at least two links per comment without having them slip into moderation hell.

    • Steve, she’s just link whoring with that site, trying to boost her ad revenue. I’d probably consider that spamming.

    • Mike Davis says:

Is that from a group of liberal atheist democrats that prayed to their deity for guidance during a drug experience to come up with that fantasy!
They should consider a Smoke Lodge retreat and I know of just the right Guru for them that preforms in Sedona when not serving time for fraud and other things.

      • Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

I think they are Socialists/Marxists/Communists—oh, wait, I mean a leftist Democrat. That’s better.

    • suyts says:

IWB, it is quite obvious to me and anyone else, that you know nothing about Christianity, nor the heritage of this nation. Quit displaying your willful ignorance.

The link you posted displays other people’s willful ignorance of the various Christian denominations.

Are there some that believe Dominion-ism is meant as the author states? Maybe, but I’ve never ran across one. Further, it is contrary to the teaching of Christ (please check the meaning of Christian.)

IWB, clearly religion and the Bible has been abused and misrepresented by some very vile people. However, to present this as a significant movement within Christianity is a vile misrepresentation of Christians.

Do most Christians believe this nation should embrace the principles set forth in the Bible? Of course they do. It is in part why and how this nation was founded. After all, God is the Father of Freedom, giving mankind the ultimate choice. Also, there are many correlations between this nation rejecting God’s word and the societal decay we see today.

Apparently, you need a lesson in the Bible. When Christ was on this earth, many Jews saw him as the Messiah, not the Messiah that will redeem us of our sins, but rather their earthly view that thought he would free Israel from the bondage of Rome…..in other words, overthrow the government and start their own theocracy. Jesus did not……yet. Not only did he not, he rejected the notion.

“And Jesus answering said to them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marveled at him.”——- Mark 12:17

That said, you would also do well to recall the words of John Adams,——- “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

The sophistry, misunderstanding, and intentional misrepresentations of Christianity splattered throughout your link is something I’ve come to expect from the amoral left.

      • Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

It is true, to see what real Christianity is look at Jesus Christ. And to see what real Muslim religion is look at Muhammad. Muhammad was a war crusader. Christ was a selfless sacrifice for sins and an example of how to love.

      • Ill wind blowing says:

It seems that anything I say is considered to be a condemnation of Christianity in general. It is not, and it’s tiresome to explain the difference between what I’m exposing and Christendom in general.

Dominion Christianity, considered a heresy by many, is an extreme version of Fundamentalist Christianity.

What I’m doing, within the context of this topic, is revealing that this form of “Militant Christianity” is a reality and does have a strong and growing influence on a segment of Fundamentalist Christianity, including televangelists,

It is your interpretation that I’m condemning conventional Christianity when in reality I’m exposing a growing, cancerous cult that would destroy other religions including Christian religions that do not adhere to their Theocratic worldview.

Now listen to knee jerk red baiters like Mike Davis: “Is that from a group of liberal atheist democrats..?.”

The following link is an expose of Dominionism/Reconstructionism by a Baptist preacher

Also, here is a link to a Fundamentalist Christian website whose purpose is:

The Apologetics Index (apologeticsindex org) ‘family of web sites’ provides nearly 43.000 pages of research resources on religious cults, sects, new religious movements, alternative religions, apologetics-, anticult-, and countercult organizations, doctrines, religious practices and world views.

Here is their article on Dominionism (Also known as Theonomy).
        apologeticsindex o r g / r 1 0 .h t m l

What a liberal, atheistic, etc, ad nauseum website. Yeah right! That conservative Christian website must be a product of my anti-Christian, feverish ‘Marxist’ imagination. Yeah right!

By the way, I don’t need to be told that I’m ignorant about Christianity since I am familiar with the Bible and have associated extensively with Pentecostals, Baptists and conservative Catholics.

      • GregW says:

Strangely I’ve met thousands of Christians over the years and can’t recall ever encountering a single “Dominionist”. Andrew Sullivan uses the term “Christianists” (fake equivalence with “Islamists”) to describe Christains and needless to say he thinks we should be very afraid.
Beware of conspiracy lunatics, Ill Wind. Someone recently sent me a link to some crap called “Zeitgeist” which reminds me of what you just linked to. Forget the loony hatred and maybe it’s not toto late for you yet.

      • suyts says:

IWB, I don’t know how many times I have to tell you, it is not a growing movement. It isn’t a movement at all. You are not understanding what is being stated. And you’re mistaking, as did Rushdoony, a sect for Christianity.

As far as their specific desires for this country/world, it isn’t all that radical. Decentralizing banking…..return to the gold standard……abolition of property taxes…..

As far as electing people to office that hold similar views…….uhmm… that’s called embracing democracy.

        What is your point?

“By the way, I don’t need to be told that I’m ignorant about Christianity since I am familiar with the Bible and have associated extensively with Pentecostals, Baptists and conservative Catholics.”

Are you as abrasive to them as you are to me?

Again, please specify the point you’re trying to make? If you thought our responses were knee jerk, just recollect your first post on the subject.

      • Ill wind blowing says:

While the links I provide are simply a starting point for the subject; it appears that no one bothers to check them out (I’m talking about the Evangelical and Baptist ones in my last post.

Also, no one reads the full text of what I’ve said completely or focuses on what they’ve read. Steve’s last post is an example:

“Gotta watch out for those Christians trying to crash planes into tall buildings. Happens all the time”

Compare that to what I wrote:

“It seems that anything I say is considered to be a condemnation of Christianity in general. It is not, and it’s tiresome to explain the difference between what I’m exposing and Christendom in general.”

In response to your sarcastic misinterpretation of what I said:

        1. Their psychology is not that of suicide bombers or the Japanese Kamakazes of WWII.

        2. Their number of dedicated members, is rather small. Their influence is not. Their danger lies in their alliances with people in power; which includes quite a few Conservative politicians and Televangists, who in turn influence conventional Fundamentalists.

I know that no one is likely to bother looking up these links, some of which I’ve given before. These links are from your typical Marxist stooges such as Reason Magazine,

        reason c o m/archives/1998/11/01/invitation-to-a-stoning

And here is one of your posters, Truepatriot spouting standard Dominionist/Theocratic Schlock

      • Ill wind blowing says:

btw illwind christians will retake the control eventually and when we do disbelievers like you who defile our children with ideas that condemn them to hell will be hunted down and imprisoned. at best.

Steve responding to my above quote with his usual well thought out rebuttal:
        “Your a loon.”

If I’m a loon then what is truepatriot? Never mind no enemies to the right.

      • suyts says:

IWB, there you are with assumptions again….. I listened to the entire bible study session you linked to. I read the text that you linked. I read you entire statement, which is why I asked you to specify what you were trying to relate.

And, IWB, again, I’m stating you don’t understand what people are talking about.

Every president the country has had avowed that they are Christians. Sadly, though, lately, many politicians have gotten away from avowing their belief and allegiance to God.

As to your belief that was a death threat………really? That’s quite a stretch….. Now Truepatriot stretched too in insinuating you defile children, but, in many cases defiling children is punishable by imprisonment.

As to their influence……. that’s a contrivance. IWB, GregW has stated that he’s never met one person that carries a Christian label and seeks to overthrow the government and establish a theocracy. They are almost as influential as the Westboro congregation.

I’ve never met one either. Yes, you found a couple of loons.(Rushdoony and his son-in-law) IWB, I’m a Christian(a constant backslider, but nonetheless..). I’m about as right-wing conservative as one can get. I often refuse to vote Republican because they’re not conservative enough. I was baptized at the age of 10. I was raised going to various churches. My brother is a Gideon, my sister is married to a missionary. My mother went from being a Southern Baptist to Pentecostal/Assembly of God. I’m here to testify, that I’ve never met one. And I was even invited to be part of a militia!!

Do loons exist that warp what the Bible says, sure, it happens all the time. But, typically, when Christian speak of “taking the country back”, they’re talking about electing people that hold their views. Putting prayer back in school, and maybe stop throwing condoms at our children, weird radical ideas such as that. There also may be some confusion…..,as Rushdoony was, There will be an established theocracy ……… when Christ comes back.

As the Baptist preacher pointed out, establishing a theocracy here and now wouldn’t work, because of all of the different interpretations of the various passages.

IWB, I understand this is consistent with your beliefs, but there really isn’t any movement to overthrow this govt under the guise of Christianity. In fact, most Christians are very patriotic.

But, Ill, to put your mind at ease, I can tell you if I ever hear of someone plotting to overthrow our government and establish a theocracy, I’ll tell you all about it and move to stop it.

BTW, the Baptist preacher on the audio, ….he didn’t quite get it all correct either.

IWB, I don’t think I’ll change your mind on this, but there are fringe people everywhere. I’m about as concerned with Dominionites as I am with the Illuminati. Ill, you gotta try and keep that stuff in check. Yes, there are monsters out there, but there isn’t a monster in every closet.

“And here is one of your posters, Truepatriot spouting standard Dominionist/Theocratic Schlock”

I smell a rat here Steve, and I mean besides Ill wind blowing (Villabolo).

        Google … site:stevengoddard.wordpress.com “truepatriot”

There is only that one post here from that username, juvenile, non-punctuated, all lowercase, troll. Pretty much the trademark of a planted post. It appears conveniently right in the thread that has Ill wind blowing (Villaloblow) spouting his religious bigotry. If you ask me it is IWB or an associate.

He plays games like this which is why Anthony IP banned him

[snip – trollobollo, aka Villabolo but keeps trying new fake names and fake emails anyway (others tried: “mecago” aka “enelcuno delatuya” aka “gaya hap”) – here’s a hint GH, you’ve been banned, and all further attempts from you will be snipped – Anthony]

P.S. (multiple links here to catch moderation)

      • Blade says:

Should mention that IWB is also Terra Incognita.

        Quoting Anthony Watts …

“REPLY: Ah Trollobolo aka Villabolo aka “mecago” aka “enelcuno delatuya” aka “gaya hap” from Van Nuys/North Hollywood is back. Proud of your pathetic dishonesty enough to post it at CP as a trophy comment I see. Such lack of scruples from the warmists flouting such dishonesty, you must be so proud. OK, we’ve upped the security just for you. Your IP address trick will no longer work to get around being banned. – Anthony”

Hey IWB, the amazing thing is that you get yourself banned from the only places where people might endeavor to engage you and try to penetrate your thick skull. I see a lot of people like Smokey and Suyts trying to be reasonable but you have become that which you profess to despise, a bigot. You have a stunning magnitude of denseness even for a leftist troll. You are burning all the bridges back to reality.

But none of this will make sense to you. Right?

P.S. (multiple links here to catch moderation)

Either you are here as a joke, pulling a prank. Or, there is something wrong with you.

        Which is it?

    • P.J. says:

      @Ill Wind:

I had a good read of your “theocracy watch” website. I must admit, I was starting to dislike you the past few days. After reading “theocracy watch”, I pity you … I really do. I thought it would be total paranoia. I was wrong … it is much worse than that. If it is true that you don’t watch TV (you said so in a previous post), it seems that you must spend an awful lot of time reading fear-mongering websites like that. I don’t know what it is you do for a living, how old you are, or what has caused the pain that you are obviously harbouring, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Peace!

  3. Mike Davis says:

She is a plant by the extremist right wing Republicans to make all Democrats look bad!
Actually she sounds like the Normal Democrat, just sort of average.

  4. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

What is it exactly that these people are smoking?

The cut of her jib was angling to keep abortion legal. Her scare tactic is to is a smoke screen, actually a threat, to those who want Roe vs. Wade overturned. She, and those like her, demonize the anti-abortionists by labeling them as Christian Militants. The clear inference is if you want to stop abortion you will come under her assumption that you are a militant and a threat to America, and she will treat you as such. She is saying, in essence, “Back off and don’t even think about overturning Roe vs. Wade, you violent threat to this Nation!”

  5. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

    More from Texas…..

Mexican illegal immigrant in America for 23 years still refuses to speak English

    • Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

He acts like he can’t speak English. But he can.

    • suyts says:

There is a significant movement on the left that wishes to change all of our laws to reflect their belief system……… its called leftist dominionism…..or more commonly known as Communism.

I’m sure IWB will join us in our outrage at people willfully circumventing U.S. law and their enablers!

  6. Sundance says:

Michael, Latoya, Jesse, Sheila, etc. I was wondering why it is that so many Jacksons don’t seem right in the head?

  7. Justa Joe says:

Dominion Christianity – only exists in the fevered imaginations of leftist paranoics.

    • Ill wind blowing says:

Of course, Justa ‘shoots from the hip’ Joe.

Not that you even have the curiosity or integrity to do the most basic Googling. Everything that doesn’t fit into the solipsistic bubble of your impoverished imagination simply does not exist. Except, of course, in the in the evil propaganda of your pet demon.

You may now go back to sleep.

      • Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

        Ill wind blowing

Again, are you here just having some fun? Or is there something wrong with you?

      • P.J. says:

AAM – IWB dodges all the direct questions … don’t hold your breath waiting for a response on that one!

      • Justa Joe says:

You’re right. I do have an “impoverished imagination” when it comes to creating bogey men that don’t actually exist as a credible threat to anyone or anything. I tend to focus on reallity. I don’t need to look at your stupid link because I’ve heard all of that crap before from other leftist paranoics and anti-Christian bigots, and it’s garbage. If I was to direct you to leftist loon and UFO nut Steven Griers’s website would that prove that you’ve been abducted by aliens?

News flash: The term Dominion Christianity doesn’t exist in the common parlance of the USA because if there are actual active adherents to that philosophy their numbers are vanishingly small. There are more leftist loons running around kavetching about theocracy (Christian) than there are people really pursueing a theocratic agenda, which is basically none. Go back to hiding under your bed.

  8. omnologos says:

No worries, we just need Sisko, then Dominionism will be defeated (and Bajor liberated!)

  9. Latitude says:

This was just cooked up by the left media to counter Rev, Wright and the president.
No one would have even heard of it, if it wasn’t for that.

Like don’t look at Weiner, look at Palin’s emails…….

    • suyts says:

Well, its recycled for that purpose. The looney left is so afraid of Christians running this country and having laws that reflect the heritage and will of the people that they’ll see a conspiracy around every corner. Which, to me is odd, seeing that it was Kruschev that stated, “We will bury you without firing a shot.” and we’ve found that there was indeed a significant movement towards that end. So much so, that now many of the principles and precepts of communism are widely accepted in the states. Maybe if the conservatives undertook taking over the unions and teaching positions, universities and the media, we’d have that same bit of success.
Anyway, I always consider these things as a bit of projection.
