Winter Temperatures Crashing Across The US

Joe D’Aleo sent this over. US winter temperatures are dropping at a rate of between thirteen and eighty-seven degrees per century.

This is exactly what the climate models predicted, and exactly what Jeff Masters means when he talks about global warming making it snow more.

    I love the way our climate knows where all the state borders are and limit it’s cooling/warming to within those borders.

      I’m pretty sure just a result of the way Steve (or whoever is responsible) did the analysis. You’ve got to place the edge of your bins somewhere.

    the NCEP Models make interesting viewing for early winter across the Northern Hemisphere.

      Wow, what an interseting perspective. I wonder if our host might consider taking those graphs and determining the predicted temperature anamoly for the Dec-Jan-Feb window via pixel counting. Not worth TOO much, sure – but curious nonetheless.
