Obama’s Wildly Successful $Trillion Stimulus

Unemployment is up almost 50% since Obama got the nomination in Sept. 2008, when he started telling everyone for the next six months that the economy was a disaster and that only he could fix it.

  1. Grumpy Grampy ;) says:

He “Fixed” it alright! The unemployment numbers shown do not reflect those that stopped trying and are no longer drawing benefits.

  2. PhilJourdan says:

FDR spent for 8 years, and did nothing for the great depression. So what lesson did the democrats learn? he did not spend enough.

I think that is the definition of insanity, and only Obama can demonstrate it so well.

The Community Organizer in Chief needs to play more golf and fly abroad more. The less he is involved in recovery decisions the better. He is as useful as navel lint at this point.

  4. Sundance says:

Obama’s playing the crying game over a report from his own economic advisors:

The White House on Tuesday sharply disputed a report that uses data from President Obama’s economic advisers to claim that jobs created or saved by the stimulus bill cost taxpayers $278,000 each.

The report released by the president’s Council of Economic Advisers late Friday ahead of the July 4 holiday weekend estimated the Recovery Act saved or created between 2.4 million and 3.6 million jobs by the end of March 2011. Spending equaled $666 billion by that time.

The White House is sharply disputing a report that argues President Obama’s stimulus package cost taxpayers $278,000 per job that it created or saved.

“That’s a cost to taxpayers of $278,000 per job,” according to the Weekly Standard, a Washington, D.C.-based magazine. “In other words, the government could simply have cut a $100,000 check to everyone whose employment was allegedly made possible by the ‘stimulus,’ and taxpayers would have come out $427 billion ahead.”

I’ll bet the Community Organizer in Chief really believes the “jobs saved” number is real rather than fabricated BS.

    Cue the sad song:

  5. Jim Cole says:

BHO has some GALL lecturing Congress about “fiscal responsibility” when his administration and his Democrat Congress (2008-2010) spent/squandered/disgorged more tax/borrow money than almost all prior Congresses – combined!!

This is like a machine-gun killer who now wants to crusade under the banner of gun control.

    Liar! Liar!

And the fact that virtually NO establishment media will call the bluff is their condemnation

Meanwhile, where are the Republicans? Would someone please just stand up and say “Bulls*it- – – that is, beside Michelle Bachmann

    • Latitude says:

Jim, he campaigned telling us how it was our fault and how irresponsible we had been with our mortgages, loans, borrowing, and credit cards………

  6. Al Gored says:

Clearly anyone criticizing Barry is dangerous. From the BBC:

US ‘hate groups’ bolstered by Obama’s election

  7. Traitor in Chief says:

Why did Obama think he could jump start the economy by throwing money at more government and Environmental causes?

Well, ask yourself: If you’d been born penniless in Kenya and found yourself now President of the USA, you would think anything was possible too.
