Chinese Pollution Saving The Planet

Climate experts tell us that without Chinese aerosols, the world would be heating out of control. I propose that we all send our old tires and other junk to China for them to burn. From the NASA map below, it looks like the could be producing a lot more aerosols than they currently are.

Is dust considered an aerosol? serious question, I don’t know……….
Because we’re monitoring African/Saharan dust down here, and we are having a lot of it…….
The iron in the dust gives us red tides……….

    • TinyCO2 says:

Isn’t the cooling effect of aerosols their ability to form cloud nuclei? The dust has a part in it but I thought SO2 was one of the main causes. I believe it has the ability to bourn higher into the atmosphere where it forms very pale haze. It was certainly one of the main elements of fogs and smogs of our past. Not all coal is equal and some contain more sulphur than others.

James Hansen has also been giving sulphur/aerosols a higher rating as he’s said that Pinatubo had a longer effect than he’d previously assigned it. Translated – I need it to last longer otherwise my sums don’t work.

Scary climate experiments suggest spraying SO2 at high altitudes.

Yeah Latitude, from what I’ve read, dust is quite an effective aerosol agent and interacts with others.

In 2007, NASA was saying just the opposite about sulfate aerosols. It’s funny how no matter what happens, there’s always an out.

Nope, Chinese aerosols aren’t saving the planet; except in your twisted interpretation of what real scientists are saying.

Those aerosols are painting us into a corner. More Carbon Dioxide from dirty coal burning plants = more Global Warming. More sulfur gunk from the same dirty coal plants = a partial and temporary offset of that Global Warming.

    One more time!!!

    1. More dirty coal burning = More AGW.
    2. More dirty coal burning = More AGW reflecting sulfur to partially and temporarily offset AGW.
    3. More sulfur = Further postponement of the full potential of AGW.
    4. The inevitable diminishment or total shutdown of dirty coal burning and eventually all fossil fuel burning in general) = = =

Is irony like goldy and silvery in your mind?

    • DEEBEE says:

LOve the maroon in the first picture of the video. Reflects you, as Steven would say.

Again creating a chain og event means nothing, if you do not have magnitude attached. Go do some reading and then come back and dicuss your findings. And get off this A = b and C = D so presto A and D blah blah blah

“Again creating a chain og event means nothing, if you do not have magnitude attached. Go do some reading and then come back and dicuss your findings. And get off this A = b and C = D so presto A and D blah blah blah”

I guess you can’t understand the rain cycle unless quantitative data were presented. I was able to; in elementary school. See if you can find any “magnitude attached”. Better yet, tell me why it’s necessary.

Now add some heat and it goes into overdrive.

        “Magnitude attached” my arse.

  4. slimething says:

    NASA was wrong then ?

  5. Richard Todd says:

Someone needs to volunteer to be the first to go live in a mud hut and eat raw worms for breakfast, thus eliminating the need for the evil fuels……..hey ill guy, c’mere.
