Polar Bear Triplets Are A “Thing Of The Past”

2007 : Dr Stirling says that the phenomenon of a female giving birth to triplets is now part of history with usually only single cubs recorded. Soon, he says, the species may be extinct.

2010sightings from guides this summer included surprisingly “frequent sightings of polar bear mothers with triplets,” “In a recent blog post, Selden predicts “prodigious numbers of bears” this year based on unusually high summer sightings.”

There really should be some laws passed about scaring people over global warming. There must be some laws about scaring people over things that are fake in existence. They should be applied.

    • Dave N says:

Hansen wants laws for people making false statements about climate. If such laws ever came about, I predict he’ll be one of the first in line for his bonehead statements and predictions that have never eventuated.

      Ironic.

I agree. Freedom of speech must be protected, but when public funds are spent because of the lie told, there should be some repercussions. I would think, at the minimum if the person was a scientist, the cutting off of any public funding in any manner to start with. That would put a stop to a lot of this nonsense.

And clearly the penalty should feeding them to the polar bears.

      + Polar Bears get food.
      + Human Carbon footprint reduced.
      + Scientific credibility increases.
      + Human gene pool improved.
+ Quality of both species rises.

      That’s what I call a win-win-win-win-win scenario.

Who needs (arguably unconstitutional) laws when we have ‘blogs like this?

  2. Al Gored says:

Stirling used to be a great scientist. Did a lot of pioneering research. Now he’s drinking the AGW kool-aid and has turned into an embarassing hack. Often works with an apparent hack-from-birth named Andrew Derocher.

And, as usual, this is about the most southerly pop of polar bears in the world, which are not representative of anything except that freak population on the margins of their range – yet they are constantly used as the poster children.

  3. joseph says:

That is a relief; I thought the bears had forgotten how to screw properly.

    🙂

Insurance companies have used scare tactics for decades and governments often step in to curtail this heinous practice. But who ‘steps in’ when it is the government who is using scare tactics on their own citizenry? The LSM?

Since they are now couching this as a ‘message’ problem, ie sales, we should hold them to the truth in advertising laws. Maybe this applies…

Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act prohibits “intentional misrepresentation of any fact which would constitute a ‘material factor’ in a purchaser’s decision to buy.”

    No sale.
