Can there be any doubt that the nice family on the right would be better off without the electrical generating station – seen spewing visible CO2 out its smokestacks? They would of course be happier freezing and starving in the dark.

CO2 is such an evil, filthy gas that all plant life would die without it.
The first step should be to find all the members of UCS and disconnect them from the Harmful fossil fuel generated energy. They should do their part in reducing energy usage. We could set up an internment camp in Death Valley where members could be at one with nature.
This could apply to so many groups.
Though I would suggest a secluded island with lots of towers set up with solar powered web cams set up to film them. Make it pay per view to pay for the transportation to the Island (one way of course).
The only “Proper” Island would be Antarctica which is actually a continent. I wanted them to be able to experience nature in all its glory and sans transportation Death Valley is isolated. Drop them off at Bad Water with what they were born with.

They could live like the Amish! Course they coudn’t use animals for work or transport (PETA ya know), couldn’t burn wood for heat or lamp oil for light, they look like standard liberal slackers that couldn’t work the 12+ hours a day required to survive in a non-industrial agrarian environment, standard amarican nuclear family with no socital connections to allow them to grow and develop within a non-industiral agrarian society.
