    The Dust Bowl took place before satellites could monitor it and without the sophisticated adjustments of today’s climate scientists. It is a fable anyhow, based on the rantings of John Steinbeck. Before greedy white males raped the planet, ruined the soil, oppressed the poor and warmed the earth, Texas was always lush and green.
