    Looks to me like the average ice concentration today is slightly higher than in 1989.

    The Average Temperature above 80 north is still well below freezing at about -19c.

    Is this the summer the arctic will go ice free ? I’m looking for a better place to park my boat so that it is out of harms way during hurricane season.

      The Great Salt Lake has very few hurricanes. China Lake in California also has a history of few hurricanes. 😉
