Heartland’s Mistake

The error that I see in Heartland’s billboard was a matter of quantity. Many terrorists are indeed global warming alarmists, and many global warming alarmists believe that terrorism is an appropriate response to use on (other) people who generate CO2. That does not prove that all global warming alarmists are terrorists, however.

The EPA may have an openly stated policy of crucifying American businesses who use automobiles or electricity, but does that make them terrorists?

‘Our intention is to attack the U.S. economic system.”

– Osama bin Laden

“My plan will necessarily make electricity prices skyrocket”

– Barack Hussein Obama

  1. Paul in Sweden says:

Is Mooney really going to do a study on the Terrorist Mind and why they gravitate towards the Global Warming Scam?

  2. The main issue is that the Heartland message looked idealogical not fact based.

  3. John B., M.D. says:

I disagree with Heartland on this issue. Bad to stoop to the alarmists’ level. Better to stick with the science.

    • miked1947 says:

you would not want to fight fire by adding fuel. The alarmists want to be confronted with facts they have continued to distort for years and still get away with it.
I can give you a list of 20 or more web sites where you can go confront then with your facts. Some of them were set up just to provide distortions of those facts.
On the other hand there is no science behind the CAGW Scam.

  4. Me says:

So their billboard is bad but it’s ok this weenier to say this.’Seriously PBS? Would you give air time to someone who says the Earth is flat or cigarettes don’t cause cancer and simply follow those falsehoods by ‘These are views challenged by scientific evidence.’ How about a Holocaust denier?’
