His literary agent now believes that she made the whole thing up, didn’t bother to check her sources, republished the same misformation numerous times over the next 17 years, and that no one Obama knew noticed her repeated errors for the next 6,209 days.
Purely coincidentally, The Associated Press simultaneously made up the same story.
The press of course did not find this story interesting, unlike the important details of Romney’s mundane business affairs.
