The new algorithm adjustments we saw happening in the last year could well be to drive the minimum lower with a new definition of “extent”

    E. M. Has an article on ICECAP about the next Bond event. If it truly coincides with the unfolding ~200 year minima, perhaps this event will be Maunder rather than Dalton.

They are claiming that all of the last 327 months have been above normal. That would not be possible even if their was rapid warming. It’s like pitching a perfect game ten times over. The fact that they need to embellish to such an outrageous extent shows that their actual case is very weak.

Yesterday Des Moines was 105. while nearby Ames and Marshaltown were 100. If you take the high end temperature, it is a scary heatwave, but still below 1930s extremes. However, if you take the low end temps, it is merely a garden variety heatwave. Shows, however what local effects can do, assuming it isn’t just downright thermometer manipulation.

Wouldn’t McGibbon be a more appropriate pet name for Bill that would better compliment the name you chose for his cohort James Hansimian? He actually looks more like a gibbon.

  7. johnmcguire says:

McGibbon and Hansimian , hahahahahahaha monkeys everywhere should be outraged at that insult.

  8. John B., M.D. says:

Weekly jobless claims have been adjusted downward the week after release many weeks in a row to make Obama look better. Data adjustments are a favorite tactic by the left.
