How is it he still is alive. US police will kill you for less severe crimes. It seems he even hasn’t got a bruise or a broken rip. Very strange for someone so dangerous.
Kill first, ask questions later is not a very useful policy. Since no one in the theater was armed and the guy apparently surrendered to the police (which is probably why he is still alive), now is the time for questions so we can see what prompted this person to take out a bunch of innocent people. The news media are the ones that are the real problem at this point–night after night they play the same scenes over and over, giving this guy exactly what he wants. There are evil and crazy people everywhere and giving them the spotlight is very wrong. (Being a secret member of the tea party is meaningless. It’s not like wackos don’t join groups every where, including liberal causes. Petty little swipe at politics to take advantage of a massacre is really telling about the writer and what it’s telling is not good.)
The reason he did it was because he knew he could. If he knew that 20% of the theatre was armed, he never would have attempted it.
Too bad the theatre made everyone leave their guns in the car. Their pathetic lame-ass liberal policy is the reason so many people’s lives were ruined.
Yes, he did it because he knew he could. And if the theater were filled with people carrying guns, he could have thrown in an IED and killed a lot more. Obviously, he had the skills. Bullets or explosives–I’d go with bullets any day. The idea that an armed society can stop evil or crazy people from killing is a delusion.
There are places where everyone is legally armed, and the crime rate is very low. I`m not impressed by your theory.

I commented on ONE incident and you extrapolated to others. If I wanted the remark extrapolated to other incidents, I would not have limited my comment to the ONE incident.
