Correcting NCDC BS

When NCDC makes their fraudulent claim in the next couple of days that July 2012 was the hottest on record in the US, here is the formula for correcting their data back to the actual temperature.

Recent July data tampering has been pushing the temperatures up by about 0.7F. They also have been knocking about 0.4F off of 1930s temperatures. The formulas are :

Actual July 2012 temperature = NCDC 2012 July temperature – 0.7F

Actual July 1936 temperature = NCDC 1936 July temperature + 0.4F

These adjustments will get you in the ballpark of the actual temperatures and allow you to make historical comparisons – rather than the phony political comparison which the Ministry Of Truth wants you to make.

There was once a time when making phony data actually resulted in expulsion from the scientific community accompanied by imprisonment for fraud, yet now it appears to warrant increasingly sizable grants and protection from the celebrity scientists who are more style than substance. I recall the controversy over the sea levels being artificially raised 0.3mm per year and having to release the correct number along with that particular one as a result and now they are tampering with the temperatures again and trying to distort the 30’s for a hundredth time? If they only put this much effort into research and trial-and-error they might actually be able to eventually consider themselves scientists.

Wow, see that they’ve made some serious adjustments, (but what do you expect from a government agency) some years were adjusted down over a degree celsius.
