“Once Ice Cube Mann” Now Uses September Arctic Ice As A Proxy For Global Temperature

Global warming hasn’t stopped by any objective measure; it is proceeding right on schedule. In many respects (e.g. the dramatic loss of Arctic sea ice this summer), it is well ahead of schedule,” Mann told LiveScience in an email.

“One tree Briffa” and “one ice cube Mann” should team up to explain the increase in Antarctic ice.

  1. “Claims global warming stopped 15 years ago are based on “cherry-picked” data…”

Yeap, RSS and HADCRUT4 are now “cherry picked denier science” and no longer “objective” measures of Mann’s delusional state of mind…

If it wasn’t for Mt Pinatubo global warming may have stopped 20 years ago

      • Interesting point. When warmists cite earlier periods of no warming for long stretches they always fail to mention major volcanic eruptions that occurred during those periods that helped to suppress temperatures. Nothing similar has happened over the last 10-15 years.

Mann should have used i.e. (id est) instead of e.g. (exempli gratia) lol

    Who or what is LiveScience?

    • Eric Simpson says:

LiveScience.com, like ScienceDaily, is a site that presents science stories. I assume that most or all of their stories are summaries of press releases or summaries of journal articles. Problem: a large portion of their articles are warmist propaganda pieces. As far as the msnbc article that is linked to above, I’m not sure how LiveScience is related to that.

  4. Andy DC says:

They have milked the early August blizzard that broke up the ice to the Nth degree. If Romney wins, we at least can ignore these clowns for the next 4 years. Am hoping “climate change” will be discussed tonight in the debate.

Not to worry. If that bullying buffoon Romney wins, he’ll keep us all distracted with his wars. 17 of his 24 foreign policy advisors are retread neocon warmongers from the Bush II administration. Haven’t gotten out of all of Bush’s wars yet, and he’ll be starting new ones here, there and everywhere.
