Obama, Crowley Continue To Wreck Their Reputations

By agreeing to lie and cheat for Obama, Crowley has destroyed any minimal reputation she may have had as a serious journalist.

Obama still wrong on Libya; Crowley blows it

In what surely was one of the weirdest incidents in a presidential debate, CNN’s Candy Crowley egregiously sided with President Obama on his false remarks on Libya, was repeatedly and decisively fact-checked post-debate as wrong (somewhere between “mostly wrong” and “pants on fire” in my book) and then backed away from her own incorrect assertion. As was the case in the vice presidential debate, the biggest story may be the after-the-debate tumult over White House misrepresentations on Libya.

That appeared to be a coordinated attack on Romney. Obama and Crowley looked like amateur comedians, who just could not wait to spill the punch line. And then… no transcript.

  2. Sundance says:

Maybe Crowley can help Obama in the next debate too by holding his hand on stage or letting him hide behind her skirt.

I wondered about this when I heard it last night…

“At the second presidential debate on Tuesday night, a camera caught first lady Michelle Obama clapping after moderator Candy Crowley told Republican presidential candidate Gov. Mitt Romney that President Obama called the Benghazi attack an “act of terror” soon after the attack on the U.S. consulate.

Nearly all of the audible applause came from those sitting away from the actual debate, but when FOX News’ camera shot moved to a bird’s-eye view it became apparent that the only applause from the participating debate audience came from first lady Michelle Obama. Mitt Romney’s wife Ann was also sitting with the debate participants.

According to the rules both campaigns agreed to, or the memorandum of understanding (MOA), there is to be no clapping from members of the debate audience.”

Michelle almost blew their cover. 😉

Candy is dandy. All of her. And that’s a lot of dandy.

  5. jimash1 says:

When Candy admits that Mitt was right, but she stopped him anyway,
well, that was cheating. Home umpire and all that.
    Very bad.

They often say, that is not over till the fat lady sings.
How about when the fat lady whines ?
