Anyone who worked on the Gladiator can reasonably assert that they “contributed” to the best picture of the year. But they can’t say they won or shared in the Best Picture award. Only the prioducers are credited with the award.

Michael Mann is a charlatan and a meglomaniac. He should have been fired long ago for scientific malfeasance. Shockingly, his actions are still defended by an inner circle of fellow warmists who have joined forces to protect their faltering reputations and defend their lucrative, but now collapsing, “man is heating the earth” scare story. They should all be arrested and charged with criminal fraud.
If you look more closely I think you will see that Mann is only defended by his own small circle scientifically*, and even there the support is rather lukewarm. What they present in the media and what happening in the real world are usually rather different things.
*I’m not counting psychologists or economists.
