I gave up the cold, healthy climate of Fort Collins, Colorado this week
to suffer in the dangerous warm climate of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Both pictures were taken today.
I am so devoted to protecting miserable, cold climates that I am sure it will be difficult to leave here. Tomorrow I’m thinking about protesting warm climates on the beach, but in the meantime it will just have to be more tequila and salsa dancing with gorgeous women.

The beauty and warmth of these subtropical places is indeed unbearable. It’s about time you start visiting some of these climate-conferences! They could use your support in their battle against these pleasant and comfortable circumstances. Now you know what an ordeal it must be for them to go there twice a year. The life of a climate warrior isn’t easy.
I wish you a lot of strength enduring this agony in Mexico.

My condolences to you for your sacrifice. I’ve been surviving this harsh 75 degree winter weather here in central Florida, I have an idea of the misery you’re enduring.
Much more of this indulgence, Steve, and you will start to think like a climate lord. In fact, you may well have discovered the missing hot spot. I foresee massive funding headed your way. Have a cool yule, yu’all.
That’s some rock, out there in the middle. At least while you swelter away, developing gall stones and cataracts, you’ll have a nice scenery till your eyes fog over.

You left fun fort for beautifull Mexico? Boy I would love to be back in Ft. Collins, spent too many years as a college student and miss the weather and winds. Why go to a beach, with beautiful women and tequila, when you can run in the snow??? Oh, never mind.

I’ve been to that resort in the pic. It’s nice and we asked for our frig to be loaded up with “free” beer and the liquor dispensers in the rooms are nice. And the one bar open 24 hours was a good night cap place to overlook the ocean. It was all inclusive and well worth it.
If you see Al Gore down there, throw a snowball at him for me. Don’t forget to take a photo.

It is quite the sacrifice, but somebody has to do it. Enjoy it while you can because tomorrow is the end of the world.
Forecast today in Cabo San Lucas is 75 degrees – feels like 75 degrees.
By the way, it is a balmy 3 degrees here in western Colorado, but only feels like -9.
It would still seem that 99% of climate migration (including vacationers) has been from north to south. That is despite all the unspeakable horrors of global warming. Like roses blooming in December. Far better to have a mile thick glacier down to Chicago!

If you feel like a road trip take a venture up to La Paz, you can see what a good size untouristed Mexican town is like…that’s where my family is. You can do a loop around the cape, I guess it has been raining like mad down there and everything is green green green, should be a beautiful drive.
BTW, I don’t know about Colorado but in my neck of the woods here in Cali it’s been 0 or 5 at night and we’re expecting 4ft of snow by Christmas.
