Is This What Drug Abuse Does To Liberals?

The rationale for printing the New York gun map was :

“in the aftermath of Sandy Hook, parents need to know which houses have guns, so they can tell their kids not to play there”

The shooting occurred in a school gun-free zone by a person who first murdered the gun owner.  How does a map of legal gun owners relate to Sandy Hook? Your brains have to be pretty scrambled to make that connection.

If a parent is concerned about their children’s friends, perhaps they could take the time to talk to their friend’s parents?

  1. A great president once said, “Ask not what you can do for your kids. Ask what the state can do in the name of your kids.”

I may have some of the details wrong.

  2. Dave G says:

there needs to be a NY map showing parents who are on psych meds, so they can tell their kids not to play there

I gave up trying to reason with gun-control zealots. They don’t think rationally. Nor are they inclined to do any independent research that might contradict their emotion-filled beliefs. Instead, they let the establishment media and self-serving politicians do their thinking for them.

Just replace “gun-control zealots” with “leftists”, and you have described our national and global problems.

Just ran across this quote from Jonathon Swift today:

“It is useless to attempt to reason a man out of a thing he was never reasoned into.”

They should probably also print a map with all black residents so children can avoid playing around their houses as well. After all it is much more likely to be murdered by (illegal) guns if you’re not a white person. Oh, but that would be both logical and politically incorrect .. my bad.
