US Comes Full Circle

In 1776, the US fought a war of independence against a tyrannical leader who taxed them without representation.

In 2012, the US president promised to raise taxes, and bypass the elected representatives of the American people. But first he wants to confiscate our guns, to avoid suffering the same fate.

      I visited the USSR in 1980 in order to:

      The oppressiveness that I felt there in 1980 is very much like the oppressiveness I feel in the United States today, except George Orwell’s book, “1984” [1], was banned in the USSR in 1980. It is still available in the USA today:
