Dumb And Dumberer

Just when you thought the White House couldn’t get any more incompetent, Kerry says he plans to make America safe – by cutting off her lifeblood.

Calling himself “a passionate advocate” for energy policy, Sen. John Kerry said Thursday that climate change was among the top international threats facing the United States, cheering environmentalists and disappointing oil industry officials, who have been watching how his confirmation as secretary of state could affect the fate of the Keystone XL pipeline.

Apparently the US energy policy is going to magically halt China’s progress. (not to mention countries like India).

I guess WaPo is as dumb as he is.

  2. Dave N says:

Dumb and dumberer should take a leaf from Ms Korhola:

Politicians like her are an apparently rare breed; I guess the further west and south you go, the dumber they become.

    • hannuko says:

She knows a lot more about the matter than most probably because she was married to a climate scientist Atte Korhola. He is someone the alarmists might categorize as a denier – not supporting every piece of alarmist rubbish.

Mr. “Blown Up Bodies” is now our Secretary of State? That is the ultimate in upside down insanity. At least he’s not our Secretary of Defense:

    Reblogged this on Climate Ponderings.

  5. Anthony Bremner says:

Kerry is a moron if he thinks climate change that does not exist is a major threat to the USA. He would rather send the Canadian oil by tanker burning fuel all the way to China and then have us buy it from hostile nations shipping it here by tanker burning fuel again rather than have the Keystone Pipeline. What happens to national security when tankers start getting shot at by Iran?

I only have to say this to my American brothers: http://youtu.be/Ee_uujKuJMI

  7. Andy DC says:

The LSM is talking about Kerry like he is some kind of national hero. What a disconnect!

  8. PatN says:

The US military believes that climate change is a national security threat. I am sure they are smarter than the numbnuts who post here.

  9. Me says:

Hillary looks like she has the canaries in the coal mine there. 😆

  10. sunsettommy says:

PatN’s foot in the mouth babbling,

“That’s right because they weren’t there, because your right wing warmongers (Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rummy, Wolfowitz, et. al) were lying about them being there.”

PatN forgot that the INTERNATIONAL intelligence community believed Saddam still had them and was not providing evidence that he was destroying them as required by the treaty he agreed to.

He also fails to notice that most of the big shot democrats for years before 2003 believed that Saddam had them and even wanted him REMOVED by force by passing Iraqi Liberation Act of 1998 during the Clinton Administration that was STILL in force when President Bush came along.

I suggest that you drop your partisan crap and move on.

Pew poll released yesterday puts Global Warming at the bottom of the list of 21 concerns.

    1- Strengthen the economy
    2- Improving job situation
    3- Reducing budget deficit
    …………………………………..
    21- Dealing w/global warming

I see that PatN is getting desperate when he throws a PDF link at us but does not articulate what he means about lies and whatever therefore it is a waste of time reading it:

“yes indeed, the ripples that a few facts cause in the cesspool of lies, deceit and distortions.

He also fell for Mueller being a past skeptic bullcrap:

“even the former skeptic mueller says its volcanos and CO2.”

He was NEVER a skeptic little man.

You also completely ignore my other comment because you must realize that it is true that the INTERNATIONAL intelligence community considered Saddam a holder of WMD to be true and President Bush used that as a basis for his legal invasion of a lawbreaking madman who for 12 years flouted the U.N. accords on them.

    • Me says:

      Is Patty refering to Muller?

    • PatN says:

Muller’s (apologies for the previous misspelling) op-ed in the NYT, titled “The Conversion of a Climate Change Skeptic” can be found at:

      http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/30/opinion/the-conversion-of-a-climate-change-skeptic.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

better learn to do a little research, so you don’t look too stupid. same holds true for GW/CC, as you and the know-nothings posting here are indeed looking more than a little stupid.

      • Me says:

        BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

      • PatN, remember you’re citing someone as an authority who could not get any of his climate papers published in any of the established climate journals because established researchers were highly critical of his work. A year or so later he eventually got his work published in the first edition of an unknown journal. His work has also been heavily criticised by climate scientists who have hundreds of papers under their belts. Just putting this into proper perspective for you… I can cite, say, the perspective of Richard Lindzen who has published about 300 times more climate science papers than Muller and who would strongly disagree with Muller’s opinions, yet oddly you prefer Muller’s opinions to those who are more authoritative. It seems to me that authority (opinions) are important to you when they agree with what you already think, but you ignore those better authorities, who don’t agree with what you already believe.
