Knut Espen Solberg, leader of ‘The Melting Arctic’ project mapping changes in the north, said the remains uncovered in past weeks in west Greenland may also be new evidence that the climate was less chilly about 1,000 years ago than it is today.

      Possibly 500 years or even 600 years but most likely 300 years! I would not put our warmth over that experienced during the 1700’s, but it could well be equal to the 1400’s.

    I thought the place was named “Green”land – wonder why ?

    Perhaps they were all colour blind ?? (sorry but I just can’t bring myself to spell colour color)
