NSIDC conveniently ignores pre-1979 satellite data, preferring to start their graphs right at the peak. This supports the impression that Arctic ice is declining due to evil humans.

Fortunately, the 1990 IPCC report captured the pre-1979 satellite data, revealing how NSIDC is cherry-picking their 1979 start date at a local maximum.
