No Green For St. Patty’s

March 17, and we still don’t have the faintest hint of green or springtime in Northern Colorado.

Everything is running about 2-3 weeks later than normal, due to an overheated atmosphere.

    I did see one neighbor have their lawn aireated, so the ground has thawed.

    Same thing on the California coast up near the Oregon border: Grape Hyacinth, Daffodils and various deciduous shrubs all were 3 weeks late, and fruit trees (plum, apple), ornamental flowering plum trees, and Cottonwood trees all were 4 weeks late. Canadian Geese mass migrations also are happening 3 to 4 weeks later than usual.

    St Patty’s was marked with a bit of a bang here in the Auckland region of NZ.

    The leprechauns kicking up their heels or was it a Global Warming caused earthquakes. 🙂

    3.3 and 3.9 on the richter scale quake.
