Germany’s Social Democratic Party was socialist and ruled during the 1920s and led to Nazi rule. Today our Democratic Party has socialist economic policies such as the socialized medicine recently enacted. The German Social Democratic Party practiced highly inflationary policies resulting in the Great German Hyperinflation. Our country has moved far across the scale from Blackstonian protections from the government to Benthamite power of the government because it was wrongly imagined that a Democracy does not require protections from the government.
