Ehrlich Expected To Die In A Holocaust Thirty Years Ago

28 July 1971

“I’m scared,” the lean, intense scientist (Paul Ehrlich) told an interviewer. “I have a teenage daughter whom I love very much. I know a lot of young people, and their world is being destroyed – my world is being destroyed. I’m 37, and I’d like to live to be 67 in a reasonably pleasant world, not die in some kind of holocaust in the next decade.”

It sounds like he has been dead spiritually for his entire life. God gave him good things and he failed to be grateful or appreciate it. He chose to live his life in a self-made hell of arrogance.

Exactly Steve! .. why is it that so many people choose to wallow in despair and not appreciate the good things that they have around them? Why do so many people not take advantage of what God or nature has given and provided for them? In a responsible way of course. I just don’t get it. I want more energy, cheaper energy. I want to take advantage of my life for the short time that it will exist. Why the hell do these stupid people complain about how they don’t wont their lives wasted, and do so by wasting their lives bitching about shit? How utterly stupid is that?

Get out, smell the flowers! Enjoy life! You aren’t going to be here for very long so you might as well make the best of what you have.

I hope he wears a diaper because he is still pooping his pants in fear of living.

    Icebergs Disappearing?
    The Washington Post

The Arctic Ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot,
according to a report to the Commerce Department yesterday from Consulafft, at Bergen, Norway.

Reports from fishermen, seal hunters, and explorers all point to a radical change in climate conditions and hitherto
unheard-of temperatures in the Arctic zone. Exploration expeditions report that scarcely any ice has been met as far
north as 81 degrees 29 minutes.

Soundings to a depth of 3,100 meters showed the gulf stream still very warm. Great masses of ice have been replaced
by moraines of earth and stones, the report continued, while at many points well-known glaciers have entirely disappeared.

Very few seals and no white fish are found in the eastern Arctic, while vast shoals of herring and smelts which have never
before ventured so far north, are being encountered in the old seal fishing grounds. Within a few years it is predicted that
due to the ice melt the sea will rise and make most coastal cities uninhabitable.

I apologize, I neglected to mention that this report was from November 2, 1922, as reported by the AP and
published in The Washington Post – 90 years ago.

Still crazy after all these years. 😦

  5. The best way to cure that kind of depression is to show people how to live off the land for a few weeks. Some of these pampered souls have no clue how resourceful and resilient people are, especially themselves.

  6. Justa Joe says:

Ehrlich and the rest of the doom merchants seem to be drama-queens in addition to thier other many faults.

    • PaddikJ says:

Drama Queenage seems to be the defining characteristic of activists, especially environmentalists, scientists very much included.

  7. Eric Simpson says:

    From Paul Ehrlich:
“In ten years all important animal life in the sea will be extinct. Large areas of coastline will have to be evacuated because of the stench of dead fish.” -Earth Day 1970
“A cancer is an uncontrolled multiplication of cells; the population explosion is an uncontrolled multiplication of people. We must shift our efforts from the treatment of the symptoms to the cutting out of the cancer.”
“A baby born in the U.S. represents twice the disaster for Earth as one born in Sweden or the USSR.” -From “Too Many Rich Folks”

  8. Brian G Valentine says:

This is the result of having fawning sycophants and never having to work a day in your life.

  9. If you declare yourself atheist, have the guts to stick to your convictions. Don’t do a David Appell; decide your life is empty, and cling to some new set of beliefs in a religious way.

  10. I. Lou Minotti says:

Steve, you’ve done a great job revealing the liberal motivation for living life–fear. You know, the next and latest catastrophe, that they by all and any means will protect us lesser beings from experiencing if only we’d listen to them, and pay a carbon tax for their time and efforts. They’ve failed to heed, however, the words of the only Standard that can save them from being spiritually dead. Here’s a great starting point for them: “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, AND COLD AND HEAT, and winter and summer, and day and night SHALL NOT CEASE”

  11. Justa Joe says:

Basically in order to make sure that there’s plenty for Ehrlich and his daughter everbody else needs to be done away with.

  12. Justa Joe says:

Mann always invokes his daughter(s) future as well. Those two are birds of a feather.

  13. PaddikJ says:

Nah, just narcissistic and not nearly as bright as he thinks; your basic legend in his own mind.

  14. gofer says:

What was so bad in ’71? I was 25 and having a great time. Must be miserable living as Erhlich. How can he even enjoy his money and fame with such a fatalistic attitude? Maybe he’s never had a birthday party?
