Almost two thirds of the way through meteorological spring, North Dakota is obliterating their old record for the coldest spring ever – by almost 3°C.
Last year was the second warmest spring on record in North Dakota, and experts blamed the warmth on missing Arctic ice. This year, the same experts blame the cold on missing Arctic ice.

Interesting how during the deep solar minimum of the beginning of the XX century it was recorded the highest average and last year during the “peak” of the new solar grand minimum we had the second highest average, followed now by the lowest average in the chart.
Strong temperature oscillations, due to low air circulation is what I’m seeing here.
Depending on how long the present minimum lasts the strong oscillations shall gradually decrease, while the entire climate cools.
Climate refugees will be leaving North Dakota
