Wyoming snowpack is far above normal, and NOAA lists them as being in severe to extreme drought.

    Cheyenne has had 30″ of snow this April, 38″ for Casper and 40″ for Lander. Wyoming has a dry climate to begin with and that constitutes a drought??

    Fargo, ND, flooding … but that happens every 4 out of 10 years. Nothing new.

    Fargo, ND is also in a drought, according to NOAA. As is Grand Forks. Yet both of these places are expecting a record flood on the Red River of the North.
