I have learned from President Obama that you can prevent bad weather fifty years from now, by simply saying lots of nasty things about Republicans and giving lots of taxpayer money to green energy scamsters who supported your campaign.

Taxation without representation should apply not just geographically, but temporally. The kids saddled with the debt never got a change to vote for the politicians kicking the can down the road.
We desperately need a “future citizens” bill of rights, to protect them from the increasingly poor decisions of the present.

Ben, you have hit the nail on the head! … this is exactly what I complain about all the time. This is nothing less than criminal. This is nothing less than directly stealing from our children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and more. This is generational theft. There is only supposed to be one provision for our government to borrow money, and that is ONLY during a time of crisis (ie: WWII) and then it is supposed to be paid back immediately. This notion of a “debt ceiling” is completely unconstitutional. They have only gotten away with this by stretching the meanings of our laws to their breaking points. They are ALL (congress, pres, ruling elite) nothing more than common criminals!
They most likely won’t even be ourchildren.
And there’s more! Just divert more of that same taxpayer money to grantologists, and you can change the weather of the past too!
