Looking at Drudge one would think the whole country is on fire.
This was not allowed into evidence. The Miami-Dade Police Dept., in order to improve juvenile crime statistics in schools, kept the investigations confined to the school system. The jewelry items that were confiscated, from Martin, were put into the police property room and never investigated. It would seem this was a prime piece of evidence showing Martin’s character and that he may, in fact, have been robbing places.
“It was that M-DSPD internal affairs investigation which revealed in October 2011 Trayvon Martin was searched by School Resource Officer, Darryl Dunn. The search of Trayvon Martin’s backpack turned up at least 12 pcs of ladies jewelry, and a man’s watch, in addition to a flat head screwdriver described as “a burglary tool”.
When Trayvon was questioned about who owned the jewelry and where it came from, he claimed he was just holding it for a “friend”. A “friend” he would not name.”

He had the items from the robbery on him and they just ignored it and never filed a criminal report. They reported the items as “found” and put them on the property shelf:
“On October 21st 2011 a burglary took place a few blocks from Krop Senior High School where Trayvon Martin attended. The stolen property outlined in the Miami-Dade Police Report (PD111021-422483) matches the descriptive presented by SRO Dunn in his School Police report 2011-11477.”
They must be too busy watching Murray and the rest during the day..

I had a friend who was out jogging nearly a decade ago. He tripped, fell and hit his head on the curb. Died instantly.
Here in Oz we get several people dying after they get into fights outside pubs each year. Usually its the same, they hit their heads on concrete and are DOA.
Zimmerman was lucky.
