Off topic but WUWT has a new poll out which can be found here https://t.co/EBGqrL7J1u

  2. Mike D says:

Back when Dems were screaming about the irresponsibility of the deficit under Bush it averaged $320 billion per year. It has been about $1.3 trillion each year since Obama was elected. That’s mainly because spending has been about $550 billion higher than it was in 2008 every year since.

The “stimulus” morphed into regular spending in the subsequent years. Some departments lost some of it, some got even more. The only thing keeping things a little in check is that the Senate has been too scared to pass a budget.

Point – “One must clearly say that we redistribute the world’s wealth by climate policy.” Ottmar Edenhofer UN IPCC

Counterpoint – “History has shown that a government’s redistribution of shrinking wealth, in preference to a private sector’s creation of new sources of it, can prove more destructive than even the most deadly enemy.” Victor David Hansen
